Hello Timbo fans all over the globe! Well, I know I've been kinda absent lately but I couldn't hesitate to introduce you to this awesome song right here! "What is it?" you might ask. Is it another pop song? Maybe some new rap joint with 48584573475867 guest stars on it? Or maybe is it club song featuring a famous DJ? Fortunately none of these options are true! Ladies and gentlemen, here it is:
No need to slap yourselves in the face guys. Yes, this is a gospel song. Actually it's one of the best gospel songs I've ever heard.
JUST TAKE A LISTEN! Listen to the awesome synth work! LAST TIME WE'VE HEARD SOMETHING LIKE THIS WAS IN THE LATE 90'S!
I don't know how to describe the beauty of this recording with words. It's fresh, it's relaxing, it has that oldschool Timbo vibe. It makes you wanna dance. It makes me smile. I feel the same as when I was listening to Playa's album for the first time. This is sorcery.
I give this song 10/10 and my personal "hurra"! This is how SV2 should've been like. And how SV3 should be.
First "Triple Threat", now this. If this is the new Timbo we were promised to see, I can't wait for more to come!
The song is a bonus track on Morgan's album "Under An Open Heaven Vol. 2". You can purchase it on iTunes, here.
sv 2 & 3 like this ?! get tha fuck outta here..
ReplyDeleteWell, this is my personal opinion... I find this track cool because it combines Tim's classic style with modern technology. I'd love to have a couple R&B tracks on SV3 that would sound just like this one. If you preffer some Hannah Montana or Katy Perry pop bullshit, that's your personal problem.
ReplyDeletei don't prefer no katy perry or miley but this is also garbage..
ReplyDeleteDunno man, but if you call this garbage that means you also think that all the great stuff he did with Ginuwine, Playa, Aaliyah etc. is garbage too. Might be that you just want something fresh, but I'm one of those fans who preffer the classic Timbo over the chart-breaking one. And I do admit that this song is not single material, but this type of music is what I think is needed to create that oldschool atmosphere Tim was talking about in all the interviews. However, let's just wait and see :)
