The extremely talented singer-songwriter and MMG signee has begun to emerge from behind-the-scenes, and his new video feature for the good folks at Revolt really signifies this. James Fauntleroy is probably one of your favorite artists favorite songwriters, with credits including Brandy, Chris Brown, Rihanna, and most recently Justin Timberlake’s entire ‘The 20/20 Experience‘ double album. The singer/songwriter has also built up a strong underground following as a member of the collective Cocaine 80′s, alongside No I.D., Common, and Jhene Aiko.

Now, James steps out from behind the scenes and validates his influential position with a compassionate acoustic performance. The first in an upcoming REVOLT TV series from the artist titled “The Chair,” it’s uncertain if this track is slated for a larger compilation or his upcoming solo album. Shot in an abandoned factory in Los Angeles, the video’s overall aesthetic mirrors the song’s sentiment and lyrics, alluding to an overall abstract feel, check out the video HERE.
