Tink recently caught up with Hot 107.9's Durtty Boyz in Atlanta, and spoke about being compared to Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill. The Chicago-raised artist responded by saying that "the comparisons are all love, but Tink is Tink," and added that she would like to be looked at as an individual.
During the conversation the "Treat Me Like Somebody" singer spoke about her instant connection with Timbaland and what it's like working with him in the studio. She then addressed the legendary producer's atypical approach to music, Tink shared a story about Timbaland bringing an apple into the studio and making a beat out of the sound of him biting into the fruit.
