YouTube Premium and Lionsgate’s hit series Step Up: High Water released their new Soundtrack to Season 2 which includes two Timbaland Co-Produced tracks. The highly anticipated Season 2 premiered on Wednesday with a completely reinvigorated soundtrack, spearheaded by the living legend Timbaland. Terrence Green and Terayle Hill linked up with Timbaland’s THE factory to create ‘Marquise's Interlude’ and ‘Take The Throne’ on the OST.
HipHopDX spoke with Terrence Green to talk about what it was like for the emulation process, especially in the presence of a beat whisperer such as Timbaland for the new Step Up: High Water Season 2 Soundtrack. “There were a lot of people involved [in the process] but overall, everything was simply incredible, I’ve never made music before so to have to work with them was a lot mentally at first, but after seeing, learning, and listening to everyone’s advice, it really helped out with my confidence.
