Chlöe Bailey recently spoke about working with legendary producer Timbaland on their collaborative mixtape, *Resurrection*, sharing how the project came together and what made the experience so special. During the interview, Chlöe explained that the title *Resurrection* represents a fresh start for both of them. "Because this project felt like a resurrection for the both of us. Any part of me that felt like I lost belief in myself, it came back for this moment."
The 13-track mixtape was created entirely over FaceTime and iMessage across two months. Timbaland would send Chlöe beats, she would write and record her ideas, then send them back. She described the project as a true passion project, saying the love, joy and creativity can be heard throughout the music.
Their collaboration began after Chlöe started posting videos of herself making beats online. After hearing one of her instrumentals titled *Keep Watching*, Timbaland reached out and asked if it was available. Instead, the two decided to create something brand new together. Chlöe also praised Timbaland's creative vision, including his decision to keep many of the songs short. "That was Timbaland's idea... We got to leave them wanting more."
She said his unconventional approach reminded her why he remains one of music's greatest producers. Looking back, Chlöe called the collaboration a full-circle moment in her career. Working with Timbaland reaffirmed her confidence and reminded her to trust the journey instead of worrying about the future. *Resurrection* marks the first full collaborative project between Chlöe Bailey and Timbaland, bringing together one of R&B's brightest voices with one of the genre's most influential producers.
