Chlöe Bailey has shared new details about her collaboration with Timbaland and their joint mixtape ‘Resurrection’, giving a closer look at how the project actually came together. She explains that much of the project was created remotely, with ideas, vocals, and feedback exchanged through iMessage and FaceTime. Despite the distance, the process stayed fast and hands-on, with Timbaland actively shaping the direction of each track.
Chlöe also highlights how much he pushed her creatively, encouraging her to lean into raw demo vocals instead of overly polished recordings. He focused on details like vocal delivery, enunciation, and making sure hooks hit with clarity and energy. One of the most surprising reveals is that the mixtape’s track order came directly from Chlöe’s original song submissions. Timbaland kept her sequence exactly as she sent it, turning the project into a very organic reflection of her instincts.
Beyond the technical process, Chlöe says the collaboration helped rebuild her confidence and creative mindset, describing it as a reset in how she approaches her artistry. "It resurrected my confidence, my belief in myself. It resurrected my mental capacity. He enlightened and challenged me." Check out the whole Interview above and and stream Resurrection HERE!
