On Saturday, 7 June, 2014, Castle Lite will be hosting the Extra Cold Music Concert at SuperSport Park, Centurion - exclusively produced by Grammy Award-winning Timbaland. Timbaland will also choose a local South African artist to work with as part of the Castle Lite show.
Organisers of the forthcoming Castle Lite’s Extra Cold Music Concert in Centurion have released early bird tickets for the June 7 event at SuperSport Park in Centurion. The tickets, which are available at Computicket for R350 for one week only, are for general admission. Organisers say they’ve put in all the effort to ensure they transform the venue into a state-of-the-art, open-air musical experience. The brand’s general manager Andrea Quaye said: “We are thrilled to have the legendary Timbaland on board to exclusively produce this next generation music event that focuses on the freshest local and international music.”
Not only will Timbaland be performing at the event but fans can also expect acclaimed rapper Nas to perform a selection of tracks from his reworked 1994 album, Illmatic, featuring his specially created Illmatic Orchestra. Local artists who will perform at the event include Sama-winning Mi Casa, Spoek Mathambo, Zakes Bantwini, Reason and DJs Clock and Black Coffee. Quaye said that Timbaland would collaborate with a couple of the local artists at the event. Tickets range between R1500 for VIP, R750 for Golden Circle and R440 for General Access.
