Diplo Teases Jack Ü Collaboration With Missy Elliott
After this year's Super Bowl, it was safe to say that the Seahawks lost, Katy Perry tied, and Missy Elliot won big. The seminal 90's and 00's rapper saw a 1000% increase in iTunes sales following her halftime performance. Suddenly, young millennials were clamouring to find out more about the "new" star while their older siblings smacked them in the back of the head.
Missy made it clear that the Super Bowl Half Time Show wasn't the last time we'd be hearing from her this year when she provided vocals for a Jack Ü collaboration. The Missy Elliot remix of "Take Ü There" has yet to receive a release date, although one can only hope it might pop up on the debut Jack Ü EP, which is slated to release this month. Diplo previewed the track on his Snapchat and the hype instantly doubled over.
