It’s been a long time since we’ve heard something about Timbaland’s project ‘Opera Noir. According to ABC’s Boy BandBiography, Timbo will release a six-part series of Opera Noir including the LP also titled Opera Noir, check out the whole Bio below.

“In early 2018, Timbaland's TV company Reign On Me Productions along with partner Left Field Pictures will be releasing a six-part autobiographical series called "Opera Noir" via Amazon, which will feature music from his forthcoming LP also titled "Opera Noir." Timbaland is set to release new music in 2017 via his label Mosley Music who is distributed by Interscope Records a Universal Music Group Company.” Thanks to B4BSE.

Timbaland x Yahoo Music Interview, Talks ‘Opera Noir’ & More

Image Hosted by UploadHouse.com
Timbaland sat down with Yahoo to talk about his new show The Pop Game and his upcoming album. He is an ideal choice to host The Pop Game, Lifetime’s new music competition series, which is essentially a bootcamp for five aspiring teen artists and their parents. Even though odds are slim that The Pop Game Season 1 will yield music’s next American Idol-style sensation, the superproducer is enjoying the artist-development aspect of the process. “All the people I’ve worked with, they were special,” he tells Yahoo Music.

“But I never got a chance to work with them in the beginning. I’m having fun building and finding out what’s special [with these artists]. That’s something I’ve never experienced, really.” Timbaland can also relate to the contestants. He remembers when he and fellow A-list hitmaker Pharrell Williams were just a couple of high school kids in Virginia Beach, trying to get recognition for their pre-fame group Surrounded by Idiots. “Being from Virginia, we had to go hard to figure out stuff,” he explains.

Timbaland Talks ‘Opera Noir’ (May 5th)

Timbaland At Variety’s Ent & Tech Summit With Tyler Oakley hgfghf gfhhgf
By Debra Birnbaum. For the past two seasons on “Empire,” Timbaland has been the man behind the music — now, he’s going to be making his own musical. The producer has struck a deal with Leftfield Pictures to develop his upcoming album “Opera Noir” (w/t) into a musical. “Opera Noir” will be a scripted hip-hop musical based on and scored by his upcoming autobiographical and final album of the same title. The plan is to shop it to networks as an event special in a variety of potential formats, from a standalone special (given the recent success of Fox’s “Grease Live!”) to a limited series.

“I couldn’t have found a better partner than Leftfield Pictures and David George for ‘Opera Noir,'” said Timbaland (aka Tim Mosley). “They understand my vision for this project, which I’ve had for years, and I’m confident they will help bring this to life for everyone to see.” “Opera Noir” will follow a young musician’s rise to the top and hardships along the way, including struggles with poverty, substance abuse and crime.

“Tim’s unbelievable candor about his experiences and difficult past help illustrate one of the most epic success stories in the industry,” said David George, CEO of Leftfield Entertainment. “We’re fortunate to be part of the ‘grand finale’ of an artist whose innovative and inspiring musical contributions have helped shape the business and will influence artists for years to come.” Timbaland serves as executive producer on the project. David George, Adam Sher and Will Nothacker executive produce for Leftfield. Jared Gutstadt, President of Jingle Punks, also serves as executive producer.

Timbaland x Radio.com Interview, Talks Movie/Music Project ‘Opera Noir’ & Sub Pack

Timbaland reveals a new movie-music project that is inspired by his life of sound crafting. Timbaland is all about the future of sound. His new mixtape King Stays King puts him front and center with future-facing artists such as Young Thug, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Tink and others. But the beat king also revealed a new movie/music project that is inspired by his life of sound crafting.

“It’s kinda like what would the world be if slavery never ended,” Timb attempted to explain the movie plot, during a recent edition of the Rap Radar Podcast. “Me being the innovator of sound, I’m from the South and I’m free. I can’t tell you about the whole story. My name is Set and my partner’s name is Man-Man… It’s kinda like that movie that just came out called The Revenant. It’s like the evolution of Timbaland and like the gift of music and what it can make you do.”

Timbaland & V. Bozeman Reveal 'Soulful Approach' For 'Opera Noir'

Timbaland is bringing passion back. The superproducer released the first single from his forthcoming album Opera Noir this week, titled “Smile” featuring V. BozemanREVOLT went to Atlantic City to catch up with the two artists and they maintained that the album will be soulful. Bozeman noted, “We really want to bring feeling back into music.  It’s like when I turn on the radio all I hear are computers now.  I don’t hear soul anymore.”

Timbaland, meanwhile, maintained that the body of work will come with visuals and tons of supporting elements. Opera Noir is about Timbaland’s life. He knows how to mix that old school with new school so well, he’s mastered it…I think Opera Noir will elevate music as a whole,” Bozeman added.

You’ll remember a few months back, REVOLT talked with Timbaland and he set the bar for Opera Noir, comparing it to Dr. Dre’s 1992 masterpiece The Chronic, saying, “When the LP comes out you will see the whole package and you’ll won’t have seen anything like this…I finally made my Chronic.”

V. Bozeman x Karen Civil Interview, First 'Opera Noir' Single 'Smile' Due March 23rd

Image Hosted by UploadHouse.com
V. Bozeman is a vocal powerhouse but you should also know her as an actress, model and worldly artist who possess a universal appeal to break down barriers. The songstress can be caught on the new hit series Empire as well as with two upcoming projects set to arrive this year.

Opera Noir, the first single will be released March 23rd called “Smile.” You know how “Happy” was? This is going to be a black anthem but it’s going to be like huge,” she explains. “After that my album [Music Is My Boyfriend] will be rolling out around spring time and I’m so proud of this and happy about both projects.”

Working closely with super-producer Timbaland, V is not only creating her own music but also collaborating with him on Opera Noir as a duet project. “It’s definitely like our music but it intertwines the old with the new and that’s what I love about it and Timb really executed this idea,” she said.

V. Bozeman x Bet.com Interview, Talks Timbaland & Opera Noir

Image Hosted by UploadHouse.com
By Jake Rohn. “My Music Is Going to Bring Feeling Back”. One of the greatest gambles an up-and-coming artist can make is challenging and rebranding the public’s idea of what’s hot, but like her character on Fox’s new hit show Empire, V. Bozeman is bringing the mainstream to her.

As the latest to be taken under the legendary wing of super producer Timbaland, the soulful songstress is looking to take the R&B world by storm with her distinct look and unmistakable voice. In an exclusive interview with BET.com, V talks about art imitating life on Empire, embracing her Blackness with songs like “Race Jones” and redefining what it means to be a diva, thanks to thepestilence.

BET.com: On Empire you play a rising star singer, which is exactly where you are in your own life. How similar is your life to hers?
V Bozeman: My character Veronica and I are so similar. I relate to her in every single way. She’s just an artist that wants to win and she is not going to let anything get in her way, whether it’s Lucious, whether it’s Cookie, whether it’s her mom, anybody or anything that steps in her way, there’s going to be issues if it hinders her from reaching her goals. She’s very passionate. She’s a sweet girl but she gets feisty when she senses somebody trying to impede on her career, so I really relate to her. She’s just passionate and loves to sing. She’s a little diva though.

Timbaland x RollingStone.Com Interview, Talks New Solo Album 'Opera Noir'

fggfds gfdhsgf
Legendary producer picks his favorite new artists and explains why you might soon hear less of him. At the turn of the decade, it seemed as though Timbaland — the producer behind many of the biggest beats of the previous 15 years — had finally quieted down. Now, at age 42, he's back on top: In the past year and a half, he has co-produced nearly all of Justin Timberlake's two volume The 20/20 Experience, most of Jay Z's Magna Carta... Holy Grail and Beyoncé highlights like "Drunk In Love" and "Partition."

On the phone to promote "Whoever We Are," his contribution to the Pepsi Beats Of The Beautiful Game World Cup LP, he spoke with Rolling Stone about the song, the young rappers he's been mentoring and why he thinks his next (and possibly final) solo album is his most innovative project ever.

Can you tell me about the birth of "Whoever We Are"?
I had this song from Rachel Assil, my new artist, and when she played me the song it was like, "Wow, this kind of fit what Pepsi people were talking about." We try to say we're planning and all this stuff, but when it comes to music you can never look back and be like, "How did this happen?" If you talk about it too much, it ain't going to happen. That's the point. So, we didn't do to much talking. It just happened.

When you're developing an artist like Rachel, what does that mean? What kind of guidance are you giving them?
I give them encouragement and I give them that talk. You have to be in there when I'm doing the talk. The talk is putting the battery pack in their back, like, "You could be a great, you could be just as great as me." Thanks to thepestilence.
