Wouldn't be doing our job if we didn't share with you OneRepublic's latest single and Music Video, "Something I Need" which after watching makes one wonder, "What the hell is happening in the clip below??"
I need not say it, but I think the director of the video, Cameron Buddy, must have been high or something because this is one hell of a twisted video plot.... A loose rabid dog attacking an innocent man trying flirt with a hot girl and ends up ultimately dead, then brought back to life just to die again...

Yes yes! I knew they would deliver on the video, once again creative genius taking over...
Plot is basic: the band performs downstairs in a run-down building, and in the floor above them, there is a lot of preaching n' teaching going on, and through a combo of wild dancing and loud music, the floor gives way and a person falls down to OneR just after they finish singing.
And for reasons that bewilder me, they threw in a shifty alligator for a cameo and it basically does nothing except walk around...

Well this is gonna be a quickie, the next single for OneRepublic is indeed going to be "Counting Stars" (yes now I won't be sorely vexed!)
It's a great single I mean even the promo version is enough to hype you up:

The main reason for saying this is because it's GOOD, I am getting more confident again now that there is a real movement being made.

Some of you may have already heard this versus remix already, and to be honest I just thought it was a simple Official Remix, but it's been getting quite a lot of airplay, and it's being heavily promoted, so I can't ignore it, and afterall I do owe you some new material, I wish I could just grab a Timbaland beat and put it up on the site... In the meantime checkout the video with the added in work the Alesso put in to the OneReblic latest single:

OneRepublic - Native Album Samples
Here's a happy little samples interlude serving as a prelude to OneRepublic's album coming out next month, and I'll tell you what I'm surprised to see they actually put "Life In Color" on the album, but it actually makes for a very quality and quantity shaped project. Pre-order commences February 20th.
Also I'll be sorely vexed if they don't make "Counting Stars" a single, that song is just far too good!
Anyway let us know what your favorite track is (and if Timbo should remix one of them like he usually does).

Lastly just a word on the "Native" album release, it will be released on March 26th 2013! So that means we'll get them one week after Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" which is dropping on March 19th 2013!

The album "Native" so far seems to be sounding pretty awesome and I'm starting to get a feel for what their album sound is gonna be like, I'm for sure buying it, even if I listen to only the 4 we've heard thus far...

OneRepublic - "If I Lose Myself" Live
The latest single from Mosley Music Group campers OneRepublic has been performed live on stage, with front-man Ryan Tedder stating that this single will be officially released next year in January (2013 if you are unaware of the year lol). Now this is a little interesting to note as their third album "Native" is also dropping in January too, perhaps it'll be a joint venture?
Looking at it from a Timbaland perspective this could be a good sign for Tim's album, afterall OneRepublic always had their material recorded first then sent off one of their tracks to Tim for his projects, so hopefully 2013 will be the year we finally see Shock Value 3 (provided it's still called that).
